CvSU Faculty Members Participate in the PinoyWISE Training of Trainers on Gender Responsive Family and Income Management
for Families of Overseas Filipino Workers

The faculty members of the Cavite State University namely: Dr. Marlon Mojica; Ms. Jenny Beb F. Ebo; Ms. Julie Ann C. Lontoc; and Mr. Michael Romea attended the PinoyWISE Training of Trainers on Gender Responsive Family and Income Management for Families of Overseas Filipino Workers on August 29-30, 2018 at Laguna State Polytechnic University San Pablo City Campus. The activity was participated by representatives from different State Universities and Colleges in Region IV-A.
Ms. Mai Dizon-Anonuevo, the Executive Director of Atikha discussed Migration and Development Nexus, Benefits and Impact of Migration to OFWs, Families and Communities and Tips in Addressing Family Issues. The workshop proper was facilitated by Ms. Aileen Constantino- Penas, the Deputy Director of Atikha. The day one workshop include the 24 Hours in the Life of an OFW, Tinimbang ka Ngunit Kulang Tayo ay Magkakaugnay, and Family Constellation.
Discussions on the concepts of savings, as well as the workshop on Saving Goal and Budgeting, Pinoy WISE AVP and Laderrized Program and Batang Atikha Savers Club and PinoyWISE Youth were presented by Ms. Penas. While Investment and Protecting Yourself and Planning and Ways Forward was discussed by Ms. Anonuevo.


The proposal on the Institutionalization of Programs in the respective State Universities was prepared and presented by the participants.
