From January 28 to February 11, 2020, the students had immersion activities in the following offices: Pollution Control Office, Institute of Food Science and Technology, Environmental Geo-Information and Remote Sensing (EnGIRS) Laboratory, University Library, Sugar Palm Research, Information and Trade Center (SPRINT), Department of Animal Science, Department of Agricultural Entrepreneurship, National Coffee Research, Development, and Extension Center (NCRDEC), Vegetable Production Area, Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, Department of Crop Science, Fruit Crop Nursery, Ornamental Nursery, Herbs Project, Agromet Station, Research Center, Extension Services Office, and CEIT Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering.

It is CAFENR’s second year to accept immersion students as part of implementing its CHED Institutional Development and Innovation Grants (IDIG) on “Reinvigorating the BS Agriculture Curriculum: Developing Agri-technopreneurs”. The activity is also an opportunity for the College to promote its curricular programs and other related courses, such as agricultural engineering, among senior high school students in the province.
