CvSU – CCAT located in Rosario, Cavite has been extending assistance to community members through donations from different individuals and associations like Rotaract Club of CvSU-CCAT, Rotary PEZA and campus faculty and staff.

PPSS and OSAS Unit provided rice assistance for nine construction workers from Calumpit, Bulacan and neighboring towns of Cavite stranded in the campus due to ECQ. Food packs were also distributed to 180 residents in Rosario and Tanza while the second wave benefited 30 families living within Rosario, Noveleta, Tanza, General Trias and Kawit. Food and drinks were also given to 50 barangay officials and volunteers, 80 frontliners in Divine Grace Medical Hospital, and 96 outpost attendants, street sweepers, and other residents in selected towns. Donations from members of Faculty and Employees Association, MPC and EBA have been converted into 29 sacks of rice for 139 families from the adopted community (Gawad Kalinga) and for security personnel and utility workers. Meanwhile, 335 kilos of rice were given to 103 tricycle drivers of EPTETODA and CvSU TODA. In another relief operation, sets of food and drinks were also shared to 139 families, 103 tricycle drivers and 200 frontliners in checkpoints in Rosario, Tanza and City of General Trias.

In terms of health and sanitation, a total of 125 hygiene kits were donated to LGU front liners like baragay tanod, police, coast guards and other attendants in checkpoints .  Medical Services Department also provided health and nutrition education, preventive care, prenatal care and vitamin tablets to 19 construction workers and their immediate family members.
