The Cavite State University iLAB Team led by Prof. Maria Soledad M. Lising along with the SMART Campus Team have recently conducted a benchmarking visit to Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) at Camiling, Tarlac as the Main Campus will soon establish its iLAB as an Innovation Laboratory for Global Education and Digital Citizenship through the funding of CHED.

The iLAB aims to be an avenue to support the Open Learning College (OLC) in promoting quality digital education and borderless learning.  It is also vital in establishing partnerships and collaborations with local and foreign Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and other external organizations.

The teams were welcomed by Mr. Julius C. Consul, Technical Staff of the TAU External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) Office upon arrival. They also made a courtesy call with TAU President, Dr. Max P. Guillermo. They also toured other facilities at TAU such as the Bamboo Processing Center and SMART Agriculture Facility. (CMGRafols)
