To officially jumpstart the university’s yuletide celebration, the Main Campus conducted its annual Christmas Tree Lighting through an in-person ceremony on Thursday, 17 November 2022 at the Laya at Diwa Plaza, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite.

The ceremony was attended by university officials, academic and non-academic personnel, and students. It started through a Sunduan Parade at 4:00 in the afternoon and followed by a short program prior to the actual lighting of the Christmas tree. Below are the excepts from the messages of the president and vice presidents:

“I can see the delight in the faces of everyone. We have all been waiting for this. This Christmas tree lighting ceremony also serves as a celebration of the victory and accomplishments of the university, despite the pandemic. Thank you very much to all your contributions for the good of our University.”   – President Hernando D. Robles

“I hope that the excitement and happiness felt by everyone during the event will remain even after the activity and be the fuel to continue loving the University. This is our university, let us love our university. Let us commit ourselves to the university, let us be the pride of the university.” – VP Camilo A. Polinga, Administrative and Support Services

“I am looking forward to the persistent efforts of everyone in keeping up with the high standards in terms of academic programs and unity in achieving the vision of CvSU.” – VP Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, Academic Affairs

“I acknowledge the efforts of the individuals involved in the research and extension of the University and hope that the commitment towards R&E will continue so we can reach our goal of becoming a global university. My heartfelt gratitude to all the OVPRE staff, faculty members, and students.”  – VP Melbourne R. Talactac, Research and Extension
