The Cavite State University, Gender and Development Focal Point System together with the Department of Economics sponsored a Gender Sensitivity Seminar among Parents Committee of Day Care, Kayquit III, Indang, Cavite on September 3, 2015 at the Brgy. Hall, Kayquit III, Indang, Cavite.

Ms. Maria Soledad M. Lising, Chair of the Department of Economics emphasized in her message that this activity aimed to enhance gender awareness of parents of day care, develop knowledge and skills and change perceptions and attitudes in relation to gender.

Dr. Nelia C. Cresino, Chair, GAD-FPS provided an Orientation on Gender and Development, Anti Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 and Anti Violence Against Women and their Children.

The activity was attended by 27 participants composed of 13 females and 17 males.

The program ended with the closing remarks from Ms. Rosie E. Pejana, Day Care Worker and Ms. Sheryll Conese, member of Parents Committee of Day Care.
