CEIT prof bags best presentation award in international conference
Mr. Jay-Arr C. Buhain, a faculty of the Department of Engineering and Information Technology won the best presentation award under the Engineering and Technology category during the ASNet Virtual Conference on Education, Social Sciences and Technology (AVEST 2021) held on September 11, 2021 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The said paper which was virtually presented is entitled “Development of a Leave Management and Monitoring System for the Cavite State University Campus Network”.
The event was organized by Asian Scholars Network to gather researchers and share the current development in their respective fields.
New registered master electricians
The University congratulates the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) and the successful examinees of the Master Electrician Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission on September 7, 2021.
The new registered master electricians are:

Cavite State University posted an overall performance rate of 76.92% (10 out of 13 takers) against the national passing performance of 67.44% (1,506 out of 2,233 takers).
New electrical engineers
The University congratulates the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) and the successful examinees of the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission on September 5 & 6, 2021.
The new professional electrical engineers are:
- Emmanuel C. Cabunilas
- Ian Clark B. Cuento
Cavite State University posted a 100 percent passing rate (2 out of 2 takers) while the national passing performance is 64.40% (1,668 out of 2,590 takers).
CEIT faculty complete graduate studies
The College of Engineering and Information Technology congratulates two of its faculty members who have received their master’s degree on August 7, 2021 at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Engr. Jose Carlo R. Dizon from the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering (DAFE) obtained his MS Agricultural Engineering degree while Prof. Russel L. Villacarlos from the Department of Information Technology (DIT) finished his MS in Computer Science.
