Roguel, Rom attend training on GAD database
Ms. Sally A. Roguel and Ms. Shirlyn M. Rom attended the training on GAD database at BP-International (Harmony Hotels), Boy Scout of the Philippines, Mt. Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna, 12-14 February.
The Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) sponsored the three-day training in partnership with the UPLB Institute of Statistics and League of Local Planning and Development Coordinators of the Philippines, Inc. (LLPDCPI).
Topics include collecting data for gender analysis, exploring data, developing and maintaining a database, and automating a database, where participants conducted workshop on data sources, developing and automating GAD database.
Participated in by 53 representatives from regional line agencies, local government units and state universities and colleges, the training concluded with the presentation of the workshop on automating a database through Microsoft excel.
