All set! Eight student-teachers from Cavite State University are scheduled to fly to Vietnam this January 28, 2020 as part of the 2019 Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP).
The following student-teachers taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English will be trained in various learning centers of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry: Christian John B. Pulido and Mary Ahn Dee P. Cairme (CvSU-Cavite City); Melandro F. Soriano and Irish Angel D. Vargas (CvSU-Tanza); Shiela Mae R. Padilla (CvSU-Carmona); Freszha B. de Jesus and Caren A. Diones (CvSU-Imus); and Charlene M. Gonzales (CvSU-Main).
In a pre-departure orientation held January 20, CvSU administrators encouraged them to take every opportunity to learn through this international practicum training while also blending in with the culture of the Vietnamese society. Helping one another is also essential as they will be placed in a different environment. John Carlo Diloy, former SIAP participant, emphasized that the training can be very beneficial to their own growth as professional teachers citing some experiences he had during his time.
