Eight representatives from the Information and Communications Technology Services (ICTS) Offices of the different campuses of Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) visited to conduct benchmarking on CvSU’s ICT, February 4.

Ms. Emeline C. Guevarra, Manager of the University Computer Center (UCC), together with Mr. Ace Amiel E. Malicsi and Mr. Bienvenido C. Sarmiento, entertained the questions from the following visitors: Mr. Edward S. Flores, OIC-Director; Mr. Neirro C. Ilagan, ICTS Chair-San Pablo; Mr. Flaviano Urrera, Jr., ICTS Chair-Siniloan; Mr. Rowan N. Elomina, ICTS Chair- Los Baños; Mr. Charles Alfred A. Cruz and Mr. Edwil John Sadsad, Programmers; and Mr. Nemencio C. Maniego, Jr. and Mr. Ron Espinuava, IT staff. Topics range from ICT policies, facilities and equipment to services offered by UCC to the stakeholders including students and faculty members.

Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. David L. Cero, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, and Dir. Maria Soledad M. Lising of the International and Local Collaboration and Linkages Office,  also welcomed them, stating that the University is also open for other possible partnerships that may arise from the visit.
