College of Nursing has produced globally competitive nurses, medical technologists and midwives who served as frontliners in the fight against COVID-19. In Cavite alone, there are more than 200 CON alumni who were reported to  work on different healthcare facilities such as City of General Trias Doctors Medical Center, General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital and Manuel V. Santiago Medical Center while others serve in as fire officers, police officers and soldiers. With this, Personal Protective Equipment that include 300 pieces of improvised face shields and 200 cloth facemasks were distributed as a form of assistance to frontliners.

Meanwhile, infographics were made to educate the public on how to contribute in flattening the curve while staying at home during the Enhanced Community Quarantine. With CvSU CON banner, they reminded the residents to: Clean hands and surrounding; Verify news and information before sharing; Support frontliners; Understand the policies implemented by authorities; Control and minimize contact to others; Observe productivity while at home; and Note emergency hotlines. They also used their Facebook page to inspire people with their spoken word poetry piece entitled “Kalabang Hindi Makita” and their vlog series on “Quarantine Routine”. (LCRoderos)
