The Cavite State University Gender and Development Technical Working Group held its 1st Quarter Meeting on 02 February via Zoom.  All GAD Coordinators were informed that the University is co-hosting with the Province of Cavite for the Regional Women’s Month Celebration to be held on 31 March. 31, 2021.

Activities for the upcoming Women’s Month celebration were also planned during the meeting. Monthly GAD activities and the respective college/campus/unit-partners were likewise plotted. For the month of February the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Criminal Justice and College of Education had been tapped to partner with the center for the different activities lined up.

A Training of Trainers was also scheduled for the new coordinators and alternates to have full understanding of Gender and Development and what it takes to be a GAD Advocate.

The activity was attended by 22 female and two male GAD Coordinators, CvSU MOVE officers, and KaTROPA members.

Prior to this quarterly meeting, Dr. Susan G. Tan, new GADRC director, sat down with the center’s staff discuss plans, activities, and budget for the year.
