Celebrating the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), the university’s GAD Resource Center concluded an Infomercial Contest from October 17 to November 21, 2022, and the entries were posted on the GADRC’s official Facebook page from November 24 to December 1, 2022.
The said contest was held as part of CvSU’s advocacy campaign to raise awareness on the problem of violence and the elimination of all forms of violence against women and girls using social media as a platform of advocacy.
The set of judges composed of Ms. Ely Rose L. Panganiban-Briones, GAD Coordinator of CvSU Bacoor City Campus; Mr. Arturo C. Eraña, Head of Technology Promotions Division of Extension Services; and Dr. Teddy F. Tepora, Manager of Innovations and Technology Support Office (ITSO) evaluated the thirty-one (31) entries received by GADRC through the criteria: message/storytelling/relevance (40%), composition/creativity/originality (35%), production quality (20%), and public impact (highest number of likes and shares in Facebook) (5%).
Third (84.33%) and second (87.33%) places were awarded to the College of Education while the first-place award (92%) was received by CvSU Carmona Campus, announced during the webinar on Understanding SOGIE and Human Rights via Zoom videoconferencing and Facebook Live on December 12, 2022. (MCPSioco)
