The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Regulatory Office (MWSS RO) paid a special visit to Cavite State University (CvSU) on January 4, 2024, at the CvSU GAD Resource Center.
The visit signifies a strong partnership that has significantly contributed to the gender mainstreaming effort of MWSS RO.
On August 14, 2023, MWSS RO, was awarded the GADTIMPALA Bronze Award for being an Outstanding Gender-Responsive Agency and the GADTIMPALA Silver Award for an Exemplary Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS).
The strong partnership between MWSS RO and CvSU began with their benchmarking activity conducted in January 2023. This activity paved the way for MWSS RO to strengthen their GAD Focal Point System by adopting CvSU’s best practices in gender mainstreaming that led to the two GADTIMPALA Award bestowed to them by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW).
