Cavite State University (CvSU) Silang Campus is recognized as among the top performing schools in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) – Secondary Level during the oath taking ceremony for new professional teachers, February 9, at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
A certificate of recognition is awarded to CvSU Silang for their exemplary performance of 93.44% passing rate among participating schools, colleges, and universities with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage in the LEPT.
CvSU Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, CvSU Silang Campus Administrator Dr. Jocelyn L. Reyes, CvSU Silang – Teacher Education Department Chairperson Dr. Roselyn A. Ymana, and CvSU Silang – Bachelor of Secondary Education Program Coordinator Dr. Lemellu Nida L. Sarmiento received the award from the Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers.
Meanwhile, Ms. Airish M. Bantog, a graduate of Bachelor of Special Needs Education from the Main Campus, ranked eighth for garnering 93% in the LEPT – elementary level.
For the overall performance, examinees for the LEPT – elementary level from CvSU Imus (10/10) and Silang (14/14) Campuses posted 100% passing rate, Naic Campus with 66.67% (4/6), Main Campus with 95.74% (45/47), and Cavite City Campus with 85% (17/20).
Lastly, CvSU Bacoor Campus garnered 86.21% (25/29), General Trias Campus with 100% (5/5), Imus Campus with 90.16% (55/61), Silang Campus with 93.44% (57/61), Tanza Campus with 70% (14/20), CCAT (Rosario) Campus with 79.01% (64/81), Naic Campus with 70% (28/40), Main Campus with 78.99% (188/238), Carmona Campus with 85.71% (30/35), Cavite City Campus with 70.45% (31/44), and Trece Martires City Campus with 72.73% (8/11) for the LEPT – secondary level.
