A Kabsuhenyo has taken the challenge to “inspire change and transform the world.”
Student leader Ms. Glenise Celis of Cavite State University is named the Best Delegate of UNESCO during the International Model United Nations (MUN) Philippines 2023, November 8-10, 2023 at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Pasig City.
During MUN conferences, participants assume the roles of diplomats who represent different countries, and engage in discussions and negotiations.
As a simulation of the United Nations (UN), the said conference provides a platform for youth participants to gain more insights on international relations, and discuss and come up with diplomatic solutions to complex global issues. It also enables them, mostly students, to enhance their public speaking and critical thinking skills.
In March 2024, Ms. Celis will be in Vietnam as part of the organizing committee for the IMUN 2024, and at the University of Santo Tomas MUN as a delegate of the UN Security Council representing the United Kingdom.
