Cavite State University (CvSU) held its 112th commencement exercises at the university International Convention Center and other venues in Cavite, August 22 – September 7.

CvSU President Hernando D. Robles led the conferment of a total of 11,357 graduates from university colleges and satellite campuses for SY 2022-2023.  

Honorable guest commencement speakers also addressed the graduates of each cluster: Ceva Animal Health (Philippines) Inc. president and country manager Dr. Bryan M. Retales and Sen. Pia S. Cayetano (for Graduate School and Open Learning College; College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences; College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources); SEARCA Director and NAST Academician Dr. Glenn B. Gregorio and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Executive Director Atty. Cinderella Filipina S. Benitez-Jaro (for College of Arts and Sciences); Department of Budget and Management Sec. Amenah F. Pangandaman, and House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Rep. Camille A. Villar (for College of Economics, Management and Development Studies); and Sen. Sherwin “Win” T. Gatchalian and Sen. Francis Joseph “Chiz” G. Escudero (for College of Education).

Also providing their commencement speeches were CHED Region IV Director Dr. Virginia Akiate (for Silang Campus); Sen. Francis N. Tolentino (for College of Engineering and Information Technology); Sen. Imee R. Marcos (for College of Criminal Justice and College of Nursing); Cavite 8th District Rep. Aniela Bianca D. Tolentino (for College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation; Naic Campus); Cavite 1st District Rep. Ramon Jolo Revilla III (for Cavite City Campus); Trece Martires City Mayor Gemma B. Lubigan and Tanza Vice Mayor Archangelo “SM” B. Matro (for Trece Martires City and Tanza campuses); and Imus City Mayor Alex L. Advincula and Vice Mayor Homer T. Saquilayan (for Imus Campus).

Lastly, Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” T. Go; Cavite 6th District Rep. Antonio A. Ferrer; Carmona Mayor Dr. Dahlia A. Loyola; and Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. and Cavite 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla graced the commencement exercises for the CvSU Rosario, General Trias, Carmona, and Bacoor campuses, respectively.
