Cavite State University (CvSU) is appointed to serve as the Regional Center (RC) for the implementation of the first cycle of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) – Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Joint Circular (JC) No. 3, s. 2022 for all the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Region IV.
Pursuant to CHED Special Order No. 51, s. 2023, CvSU will serve as the regional center for the implementation of the joint circular which provides updated and revised policies and guidelines for the reclassification of faculty positions in SUCs.
The JC also aims to serve as a basis for policy decisions for faculty development in SUCs; and motivate a faculty to upgrade his/her rank and compensation by improving his/her academic qualifications, achievements, and performance.
Designated RCs shall serve as temporary repository of the hard copies of application documents of the faculty with Instructor I to Associate Professor V, and College or University Professor ranks. RCs will also be the venue for the in-person validation activities of the Regional Evaluation Committee and the Certification Committee.
