The GAD Resource Center conducted an online Orientation on Magna Carta of Women to the members of the Indang Association of Person’s with Disability, Inc. (IAPWDI) last August 13, 2021. The orientation was attended by 6 male and 34 female participants.
Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, In-Charge of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of the GADRC introduced the speaker for the topic.
Ms. Arlene A. Estrada, GAD Coordinator, CvSU Trece Martires City Campus, discussed the law and emphasized that the Magna Carta of Women is a comprehensive women’s human rights law and it seeks to eliminate discrimination through the recognition, protection, fulfillment, and promotion of the rights of Filipino women, especially those belonging in the marginalized sectors of the society.(JRDEmelo)
