Cavite State University (CvSU) Hornets emerged as third place overall in the 8th Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) Olympics 2024 held in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, October 21-25. - CvSU produces 72 new licensed veterinariansCavite State University (CvSU) produced 72 new licensed veterinarians in the October 2024 Veterinarians Licensure Examination. CvSU achieved an overall passing rate of 67.92% (72 out of 106), with Dr. Dei Anne Gatpandan Adona securing the sixth place with 86.98% rating.

The turnover ceremony was held at the CvSU Historical and Cultural Museum on October 30, 2024, attended by the De las Alas clan and officials and guests from CvSU and partner institutions.
