The College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources provided support to both animals and humans in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To assist residents in their home gardens, 155 beneficiaries received vegetable seeds (pechay, mustard, okra and kangkong) requested from the Department of Agriculture- Office of the Agriculture Provincial Coordinating Office. Recipients include CvSU employees and residents of the Bancod, Mahabang Kahoy, Buna Cerca, Calumpang Cerca, Poblacion, and Kaytambog. Members of Banaba Cerca Farmers Association also received the said planting materials.

Meanwhile, 100 ready-to-drink immune-boosting camias juice to frontliners assigned in Brgy. Bancod and Poblacion. They were also given a mix of calamansi, ginger, lemongrass and sweet potato in the hope of helping their resistance against the virus.

It was earlier reported that veterinary technical assistance was given to animal farms and domestic pets in Bacoor, Dasmariñas, Indang and Silang last April 21.
