A focus group discussion (FGD) between CvSU-GAD Resource Center and members of One Life Foundation and Happy Homes Housing Cooperative was conducted on 29 November 2022 to identify the needs of the latter, specifically on the aspect of having a regular source of income, to provide assistance in conducting livelihood programs through seminars and training, and to strengthen the partnership with the stakeholders for program planning and development.

Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, In-Charge for Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation of GADRC, discussed the result of the Community Needs Assessment (CNA) conducted with the participants. With a total number of 15 respondents, eighty percent (80%) were females, and twenty percent (20%) were males while 53.3% percent of the respondents were married, and 46.7% were single. She also highlighted the results of the suggested livelihood program of the participants which includes programs related to dishwashing liquid making, baking, and pastry making.

After the discussion of the result of the CNA, Ms. Estebat asked the participants about the other livelihood projects they wanted to venture into wherein they suggested meat processing and flower arrangement. She advised them to consider the available raw materials in their area which they can use to lessen the price of their capital.

The FGD was attended by a total of nineteen (19) participants composed of 14 females and 5 males. (GCRSison)
