With Cavite State University’s (CvSU) Gender and Development (GAD) Resource Center (GADRC) being recognized as four-time Most Outstanding State University in GAD Implementation in Calabarzon, the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB), led by its Gender Center Director Nelson Jose Vincent B. Querijero and other UPLB personnel, benchmarked GADRC’s best practices on May 31, 2023.

The programs, activities, and projects in creating a gender-responsive and inclusive university were discussed by Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, In-Charge for Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation. She emphasized how GAD has been integrated in the university instruction, research, extension, and support to operation.

Mr. Leslie Bolañol, DX Project Leader, then presented the UPLB project, “UPLB Gender: Development and Implementation of a Gender-Responsive Digital Enterprise Architecture,” intended to digitally mainstream GAD in order to create a university that is more gender-responsive and future-proof.
