It is that time of the year again as the Cavite State University (CvSU) community kicked off the Paskuhan festivities with a showcase of talents and camaraderie during the annual giant Christmas tree lighting, November 15, at the University Plaza.

In his message, CvSU President Dr. Hernando D. Robles recognized the unwavering support and cooperation of the officials, faculty members, employees, and the studentry in achieving all the University accomplishments and milestones since the start of the pandemic.

According to Dr. Robles, much has improved when it comes to the facilities and amenities, including the newly inaugurated housing units at the Faculty Village, the HEVTED (Home Economics Vocational and Technical Education Department) Building of the College of Education, and the Bahay ng Alumni. He added that the improvement and construction of other college buildings are already in the pipeline. 

Moreover, Dr. Robles lauded CvSU’s exemplary achievements in the licensure examinations, with the university recently producing topnotchers from its engineering, veterinary medicine, and midwifery programs. 

The event also highlighted performances from the CvSU Chorale Ensemble, PRIME Moverz, CvSU Cultural Dance Troupe, Student Artisté Society (StArs), Sofia Yesha Napoles, Czarina Angelin Antonio, Russel Simon Roxas, and Kian Joy Guarin.
