Cavite State University – Knowledge Management Center Director Dr. Agnes C. Francisco is the recipient of the 2024 Danilo T. Dayag (DTD) Memorial Lecture.
As this year’s featured speaker, Dr. Francisco presented a lecture on the study “The Ethnolingustic Vitality of Isnag, Isneg Yapayao, & Itneg Tingguian in Ilocos Norte: Assessing Determinants of Language Maintenance and Shift” at the De La Salle University (DLSU) Manila, March 16.
Co-hosted by the Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP) and the Department of English and Applied Linguistics of the DLSU Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education, the DTD Memorial Lecture was established on March 17, 2016 “to honor a distinguished scholar, linguist, mentor, and longtime LSP board member and PJL editor.”
