Two Cavite State University (CvSU) faculty members attended the face-to-face sessions of the 2024 Leadership Development Program (LDP) for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Southeast Asia, May 7-9, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dr. Bettina Joyce P. Ilagan, Dean of the Graduate School and Open Learning College, and Dr. Rhodora S. Crizaldo, University Designated Faculty Researcher and Associate Professor V, are among the 33 delegates from 23 participating HEIs in Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

The participants convened in Thailand for the pitching and refinement of their Re-Entry Action Plan (REAP) before the LDP faculty headed by Dr. N. Varaprasad, founder and partner at Singapore Education Consulting Group, and the program’s technical coordinator.

Running in hybrid mode from March to July 2024, this regional learning event, co-organized by the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) and The HEAD Foundation, aims to build the capacities of Southeast Asian HEI leaders with the relevant skills and knowledge needed to effectively lead thriving and resilient universities in the region.
