Faculty members from the Department of Communication of the College of Arts and Sciences served as members of working committees of the First FRAMEwork Asia-Pacific Communication Conference and represented Cavite State University in a partnership with Far Eastern University, Visayas State University, University of the Philippines – Mindanao, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia and University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, November 24 to 25.
Dr. Bettina Joyce Ilagan who served as a discussant, Prof. Racquel Agustin as roundtable lecturer, and Prof. Lisette Mendoza as one of the jurors for best paper presentation, were with Prof. Bernard Feranil and Mr. Renz Kevin Alcazar as hosts during the two-day conference themed as Disruptions and (Re) Constructions in the Time of COVID-19: Turning the Gaze in the Global South. The conference was hybrid with local and international participants from Thailand, Indonesia, and China joining via Zoom.
One of the highlights of the event was the ceremonial MOA signing that sealed the partnership of the six academic institutions.
