With Cavite State University’s (CvSU) Gender and Development (GAD) Resource Center (GADRC) being recognized as four-time Most Outstanding State University in GAD Implementation in Calabarzon, the University of the Philippines-Los BaΓ±os (UPLB), led by its Gender Center Director Nelson Jose Vincent B. Querijero and other UPLB personnel, benchmarked GADRC’s best practices on May 31, 2023.

The programs, activities, and projects in creating a gender-responsive and inclusive university were discussed by Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, In-Charge for Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation. She emphasized how GAD has been integrated in the university instruction, research, extension, and support to operation.

Mr. Leslie BolaΓ±ol, DX Project Leader, then presented the UPLB project, “UPLB Gender: Development and Implementation of a Gender-Responsive Digital Enterprise Architecture,” intended to digitally mainstream GAD in order to create a university that is more gender-responsive and future-proof.
