The University recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Terra Verde Ecofarm Inc. (TVEI) to further strengthen the University’s extension and advisory services.

Through this agreement, the College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources (CAFENR) will extend technical assistance and other services to TVEI. As an initial activity,                For. Junser P. Magpantay will assist TVEI in identifying the scientific name, common name and uses of the flora and fauna present in the farm. This will enable TVEI to promote to the general public the conservation and proper utilization of these flora and fauna.

The parties who signed the MOA include Dr. Hernando D. Robles, TVEI President Mr. Ericson B. Atanacio represented by Engr. Emerson Atanacio and Dr. Naomi Atanacio, CAFENR Dean Dr. Analita dM. Magsino, and Forester Junser P. Magpantay. The partnership was made possible through the assistance of Ms. Lorna C. Matel, Head of the Community Engagement and External Relations of Extension Services.

Terra Verde Eco Farm Inc. is located in Maragondon, Cavite and aims to develop their farm as a tourism venue and as an agricultural learning center. (PGDucusin)
