Officials, faculty members, students, and guests gathered for the signing of the deed of donation and actual turnover of the duly constructed school building from the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) for Cavite State University (CvSU) Imus Campus, October 18. 

Gracing the event are FFCCCII officials and Mr. Philip Lee Tiak Him who donated the building in memory of his mother, Madame Lao Lai Wing.

University officials led by President Dr. Hernando D. Robles, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, and Imus Campus Administrator Dr. Jenny Beb F. Espineli also awarded a plaque of appreciation and certification of recognition to the donors. 

The building was constructed under the “Operation: Barrio Schools” project of the FFCCCII and the Cavite Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. 

With the goal of supporting the country’s education sector since 1961, the “Operation: Barrio Schools” school building construction program is made possible through donations from FFCCCII members and organizations, families, and individuals within the Filipino-Chinese community.
